*Version en espanol: vimeo.com/2757040

I made this video using photos from bahai.org/attaining : images of Baha'is from five continents engaging in common yet diverse activity. Text from a recent message dated 20 October 2008 from the Universal House of Justice (the international governing body of the worldwide Baha'i community) to the Baha'is of the world.

The song is called "Spiritual Medley" by the Harvard Kuumba Singers.

The video was made as an invitation to the Washington, D.C. Baha'i community's Reflection Gathering, but feel free to use as you wish.

**I will be making a version in German and Portuguese (due to requests; any other language requests and I can try my best!).

This is evidence of the Divine Springtime….the fruits of the Tree by which we know its source.
This is proof of the path…the mystic path walked with practical feet, in the world but not of the world.
This is the Spiritual Revolution to uplift the downtrodden…peace with justice.

    This is beautiful Leila.
PS: You might want to redo the link minus the colon so everyone's able to follow it.

Hello, Leila, can you please provide information on the music? Who performed it?

    Thanks!

I enjoyed your video but I did not see where you have given credit to those who performed the music. This isn't just a matter of others wanting to know where it can be found; it is even contrary to basic rules of scholarship and can be construed as plagiarism. Perhaps I didn't look thoroughly enough; I hope that's the case because as the video indicates, Baha'u'llah
stresses rectitude of conduct and that which is noble and good.

hi elaine-- sorry for not indicated names of musicians. i just made this for our cluster reflection gathering in D.C., posted it so others could see it, and didn't imagine it was going to get this many views from so many people all over the world. when i have a spare moment sometime soon, i will make a version that can be shared (i.e. without the DC-specific slide), and yes, I did intend to include a final slide that included credits. so, one step ahead of you =) and the song is called "Spiritual Medley" by the Harvard Kuumba Singers. thanks for bringing it to my attention, regardless!

This is quite the video, Leila - another case of "gee, what the heck is this in my Trash box?" Only one problem: it kept stopping at 05:36. Apart from that, quite a moving meditation on the letter from the Universal House of Justice combined with the music and the images.

    Thank you.

    Thanks Leila,
Saw this and have decided to share it with the friends at our Feast in Tokyo tomorrow - will have someone read Japanese either before or during the viewing.
