I made these so I could make my handle bars into a disco.
Three colour LEDs, moulded into a very tough thermoplastic body, water proof and pretty indestructible (you can throw it as hard as you like against a brick wall and it will just bounce off and keep on giving the gift of disco light).
This one was the prototype, the finished one looks much neater.
