Met these guys last night - they're great! they were a warm up act for Dirty Pretty Things at Hatfield Uni. We got down and dirty to a few DPT tracks before catching up with them, and their already huge following, while they were signing off all sorts! Fingers crossed for great things to come in 2009! Hope they come to Milton Keynes!!!

I wonder, was this shot on super 16 or are the film effects done in post?

EDIT: Upon reflection, there are computer generated effects with film grain on top, so I think i answered my own question ;-D i'm curious what plugin you used. It looks amazing. If you told me you had it scanned onto film and then redigitized i'd believe it.

Damn impressive. I'm thinking processing or quartz for a fair bit of that. Also, SH101?

You nailed it James, from the first second of this video. Just from that superb retro opening slate w. the radial wipe. You nailed it because you went kitsch/retro without a lot of knowing winks and sleazy showiness. This is one of the best videos I've seen on Vimeo thus far, and I'm painfully crawling through all the staff picks this week. Big ups.

incredible. The degradation and aging effects are impressive, especially the faded and muted colors.

    This was amazing.

It's like a 1980's music video made by a 1970's filmmaker born in the 1960's only after time-travelling to 2050 to film it.

You, sir, kick all kinds of ass.
