FractalNet HD - Morphing Julia set 1 (double view)
A morphing Julia set, with a transitioning colour scheme and a 180° rotation, generated by FractalNet, my distributed fractal renderer.
The second view in the bottom-right corner shows the Mandelbrot set, and the white crosshair indicates the coordinates used to create the main Julia set. As the crosshair moves across the Mandelbrot set, the Julia set morphs.
The main Julia video required a total of 890 billion iterations (an average of 444 million iterations per frame), and the small Mandelbrot video required a total of 182 billion iterations (an average of 91 million iterations per frame).
