I would muddle the mint leaves with the simple syrup before adding other ingredients.

  • Zach Klein 2 years ago
Sorry, I removed it. I'm not into using the cast for novelty. I did, however, add iPhone to the tags.

What happened to you only using fresh squeezed juice for summer cocktails??
  • Zach Klein 2 years ago
It's my preference, but we had to resort to the concentrate we had on hand ... we had dinner reservations to make.

Nice video! That was a good night.

I like how you titled me "ingredient fetcher." That might be a bit of a stretch.

Sounds really good. I would suggest a different gin than Sapphire though. Bombay Sapphire (one of my favorite gins) has a large number of botanical infusions which I think would combat the sweetness and pomegranate. Something less complex, like Gilbey's or Tanqueray London Dry Gins, would be good, I think. Or, consider substituting the Tanqueray Sterling Vodka with citrus. That would probably be really good too.

You also might want to try muddling the mint to release more of the flavor. Just toss it in a glass or shaker with the ice and mash it up a bit, then add the other ingredients...
  • 3d60 2 years ago
oh muddlin ...... can't get enough of the muddles in your drinkies
  •
  • Gisela 2 years ago
I will have to try and make it!
