Went to someone's dream-house house warming party the client threw for all the trades folk that crafted his house.

Amazing place.

    wow! that's so amazing to see everything you've worked on, as a completed project
  • CTD3 1 year ago
    Well we just enjoyed the house and worked essentially on the outside doing corrective/missing copper work, still that the owner had the complete batch of trades people there for a celebration was very cool.

    Yes show more!!! I absolutely love that place--love the "craftsman" nature of that place. Incredible!
  • CTD3 1 year ago
    Speaking of craftsman pieces;
    The owner visited the "Stickley Furniture" factory and selected all the furniture for the house, some 150 pieces.
  • CTD3 1 year ago
    & yes I have some other clips of this place, I 'll get them up soon.
  • eric cwiertny 1 year ago
    Holy.... somebody had some money to spend for all that Stickley furniture!
  • CTD3 1 year ago
    Yeah that whole project "zone" is "do it right and money is no object for getting the result desired including certainly several hundred thousand dollars of new Stickley" yet the owner drives a Prius!

    He's enormously wealthy and a cool guy who really brings out the best in people.

    Haaaaaaay!

    And what about "roof isolation" ? ;-)
  • CTD3 1 year ago
    It is common on the open structured Post & Beam to house the insulation above the ceiling face of "V" groove boarding. Likely a 4" slabs of a tight dense polyisocyanate sandwiched between 2 5/8th' flake board panels that interlock together. The roof is a rubber tiled faux slate.
