Excuse me, I don't mean to but into this conversation, but we here on vimeo are all about the love.

If a video is not up to snuff and was a waste of one's time, it is best to leave no comment. Unless it's a helpful comment, such as "I think this would be a rockin' video if the editing was a little tighter." If we wanted to be told how bad our videos were, we'd go to another site, probably the one that rhymes with ShoeCube. If you found the video somewhat entertaining, you might leave a comment along the lines of "I'm glad I came across this video. I liked [insert a certain aspect you found favorable]." If you thought it was the best thing you've seen in a long time, indicate as much. The "Like" heart is just a bonus on top of the comment. Of course, these rules are certainly not hard and fast.

The great thing about vimeo is that there are videos for almost every preference. Like home movies? They're here. Like short films? They're here. Like stop-film animation? It's here. Like vlogs? They're here. Like videos of dogs and/or cats? They're here.

And the best part? They are all original!

So if there is a video you don't like, it's best to just move along and find one that you do like.
