Two characters confront their simmering attraction and risk all through direct contact. Referencing both Tango and Contact Improvisation, their movement playfully explores each others presence and power. Shot in one continuous take, the rough and ready hand-held camera improvises within the dance, an active participant in their passionate dialogue.
Made with an international group at Henrichshutte industrial museum, Hattingen, Germany, this short is part of an ongoing research process investigating improvisation with a moving camera.
