    I purchased the Kodak 1223, which has the HD video. The videos do not play smoothly on my 6 year old Gateway --19 inch-- CRT. I had to set the camera to VGA --capture --then play on my monitor for smooth playback. Should this hd video be smooth on the crt that I have? The hd video also did not play smoothly on my HP vista notebook. Thanks

    If HD videos don't play smoothly for you, put your mouse over the video and click the "HD On" button to switch to SD.
