This is an example of video we took with the inexpensive Bonica Snapper HDDV underwater vidcam. We recorded at 1280 x 720 pixels, which makes for 720P video on a high-def TV. The camera uses SD cards, and we managed to record about an hour onto an 8GB card. Video was exported from Mac iMovie HD with settings recommended by vimeo. The resulting footage looks terrific on a large LCD flat screen. The noise you occasionally hear on the underwater track is the camera's auto focus motor. This is on a free vimeo account where video quality is "standard" as opposed to "high" on paid vimeo plus accounts.
