Hi, Thanks for all the positive comments, its really appreciated. I guess I called it a test video because its the first footage i've shot with the 5D, and it was just a quick edit in I-Movie. :-)

How limited do you feel by the camera? Let's say compared to traditional video cam.

    Great images!

Hi Gary, It takes a bit of getting used to, especially the manual focus, but its def worth it. The image quality, and more importantly the vibrancy and depth of the colours is amazing. I'm just looking forward to getting a few more lenses. :-)

Just love what I keep seeing from the 5D2, the colours definitely are rich and vibrant, and the low light shots have beautifully crushed blacks and almost no noise. There were some nice shots here, I enjoyed watching.

    I love love love this.

I've noticed that anything metallic, looks so awesome in black in white on the 5d. E.g. the first shot of the propellor.

However, my fav shot is the one of her @ 3:06.

    Keep it up.

    Cheers Byron.

Thanks for your kind comments. Yeah, nearly everything looks sweet on the 5D, but the monochrome is great!

    Take it easy!

the cinematography is brilliant, and the edit is extremely well done. It's nice to see a 3:00 short that doesn't feel like 10:00, your timing is excellent and I look forward to seeing more stuff.

Are you working on putting together a scripted piece?

Cheers Zack. Thanks loads for your kind comments. I've got ideas floating around in my head, but because i'm a bit of a perfectionist it leads to procrastination! ;-) I've got a pal staying this weekend and we might shoot a 10 minute horror short for a bit of fun. How about you? Anything your working on?
