Art Directors and Designers Association of New Orleans 1962 Slideshow Presentation
10 months ago
Meet the original Mad Men of New Orleans. The Art Directors and Designers Association of New Orleans was the brainchild of Don Smith and Gus Levy. The ADDA was formed when they realized that creatives in New Orleans did not have a place to congregate. In 1998 the ADDA would become the AIGA New Orleans chapter. This presentation was originally conceived as a way to present local design talent to businesses who may not know how design can help their business and brand. Originally put together of one hundred 35mm slides and two reel to reel tapes, the person needed to advance the slides has now been replaced by modern technology to bring this piece of history to the masses.
