great tutorial man, thanks. yeah definitely film these on press, that'd be sick. I'd love to see how tightly you reg this 5 color job (right?) with only that 1px trapping/choking; to see them reg nice and tight.

Also, question about the halftone combining of the bright blue layer, What were the settings you used to make that halftone so that it worked out to almost a 50% lighter blue (by way of underbasing wht)? For a job like this would you use over 200mesh for all the screens or would you up or lower the mesh for any of the colors, like maybe the halftone? thanks man!

BTW: I like your method, but I always use the channels as opposed to using the layers to do the seps. Your method works well as you're using PS to create your halftones. Great work, that Bear Brains video on youtube is hilarious!
