Why does the optical quality seem to poor on the video though ?

@Erik this is just a still frame grab which is low rez. I thought it would be easier to demo the difference in zoom capability. In day-to-day normal use - you wouldn't probably notice any difference.

@Michael yes it is easier to make a shallow depth of field look - but technically what you get is a narrower ANGLE of view.
