The Twenty Miler (ouch)
This is another tasty edition of my running vlog. This edition features my friend Sue and I running a gigantic twenty mile training run .
Q - Why are we running so far?
A - We're training for the Lasalle Bank Chicago Marathong (I like calling it a marathong...c'mon, it's funny!)
This is also a part of JChaps (http://www.vimeo.com/nonsense)Goalproving project.

Way to go! 20! Only 6.2 more to go!
And I'm disappointed - I wanted to see some bikers get their asses kicked. Somebody, anyway.
I would have loved to kick some biker ass today. Some of them are totally obnoxious. They ride up your ass, then slam the brakes to scare you to death. When your'e running, the last thing you need is some ass scaring the shit out of you. It's hard enough out there! :-)
;-)
it's the purest form of human achievement, staking your mind right up over and beyond what you once thought were the limits of your body.
good thing you guys had each other along the way. it's always nice when someone else is working alongside you.
so inspiring.
Being able to see others give their blood sweat (literally) and tears to achieve a goal, the struggle offers a rare glimpse into the lives of others is rarely . Thanks for sharing. I've got a lot of work to do tonight and this was a nice pick me up.
this was a good comment. thanks!
we ran ten out, and ten back.
i don't think it's any further than ten because we run with GPS systems strapped to our bodies which gives us a pretty accurate reading.
yeah. the gps gives me my time, pace, distance, hear rate and my route. when i'm finished a run, i can upload the data to my computer and do an analysis if i wanted to, but i'm running for fun, so all that data is a bit much for me. i focus more on distance than anything else.
I don't get lonely, but I need someone to keep me motivated.
