We got stuck in the Zocalo while it was raining hard. While we were there, the army arrived, complete with marching band, paraded around the square in the rain, took down the huge Mexican flag in the centre and then returned to their vehicles.
Unfortunately we weren't as brave as the soldiers so we stayed in the church until the rain eased off.
