A screen capture using gtk-recordmydesktop on Ubuntu Gusty Gibbon tribe 5. It was smooth except for the black lines that move across the screen. Aside from that, this is a good idea of how cool this eye candy is Enjoy :)

    I end up saying "WOW" more with compiz and "Thats it!" with Vista.

    It certainly has evolved into something a lot more usable. In fact if commercial developers created software for it I wouldn't look back. Unfortunately Linux hasn't proven to me that it can handle serious video editing of any form.
