BIO:

John graduated from Wimbledon College of Art and Design in London, UK, in 1989 as a Fine Artist, Painter and Animated Filmmaker. In 1993 he graduated from film school in Sydney, Australia in Cinematography (Film and Television). He has worked with over a hundred and sixty different directors on mainstream dramas and commercials in Britain, Europe, Thailand, Brasil and Australia. Today, John continues to DP features, music videos, commercials, documentaries and TV worldwide, and for the last six years has been shooting major TV productions for the US market, such as Survivor- (fourteen seasons in ten countries to date), Contender- and others. John is a full member of the Australian Cinematographer's Society (ASC), is a part time scriptwriter for the BBC, has six EMMY nominations for cinematography, embraces HD and the digital aesthetic despite over twenty years experience shooting film, and is undyingly enthusiastic about and dedicated to developing the visual expression of human experience through cinematography.
