This is part 2 of how to make beer at home. In this episode the beer kit is examined, the beer is cooked into wort, and then added to the fermentation bucket. The last step is pitching yeast and sealing the fermentation bucket. This is the longest of the segments; 15 minutes.

Georgie Hammerton 11 months agoI'm trying to persuade my housemates to let me try it at the moment :) I'm trying to persuade my dad to do it too so that we can then swap our final beers and see how we did.. :) -
ed 11 months agoWhy wouldn't they? The malt smell only sticks around for a couple of days. -
Buck Flashroy 11 months agoYou explain it all very well. I like the tips you give, and I like it even more that you explain the reasons behind the tips. Fantastic work Ed! -

ed 10 months agoThis one has been a struggle Bill. I've has to add additional yeast and give it another couple of weeks because the first fermentation stalled. Hopefully I'll be bottling it tomorrow.
