Spider in Front Yard (HD)
So yeah I'm pretty excited about the new HD feature.
Enjoy this Spider and Nick Cave.

NOTES: For knowledge sake. Originally the HD file was at 140MB for a 1'30 clip. Way too big. After Blake Whitman suggested using VisualHub I was able to get the file down to 70MB. A little more tweaking an I was able to get it down to 35MB! I was able to shave off 105MB. And it still looks the way I want it to.

I'm one of those people who is absolutely fine with spiders (in fact I'm quite interested in them) unless they're really near me and not under a glass. Then I get a little jumpy, which obviously makes looking at them close up difficult, so this is great.
I dig spiders. They don't bug me as much unless they're the black kind with that red hour-glass shape thing on its back. RUN!
In fact if I saw a huge gangly spider I'd probably run like a sissy girl down the street.
Run!
Fast.
Joel: I'm using VisualHub for my compressing needs right now for the HD stuff because it is way faster and simpler. I'll try to post something in the "Camera Forum" about what I find best for compressing my HD stuff.
My main prob is after i've edited in final cut, i don't know what settings to use to export it.
But i'll wait to have a read of the FAQ first!
wow.
Scroll up a bit and on your right there is a link.
The file size is about 70mb though I think I can get it to be smaller. I need to tinker a little more with the settings.
Compressed using h.264 out of a program called VisualHub. In there i have it set to Two Pass. Again I still need to mess with the settings a little more to get smaller file sizes.
