My Social Graph Is Getting Weird
My presentation at Pecha Kucha Night: Kansas City #4, held at Crosstown Station on February 26, 2009.
“My Social Graph Is Getting Weird” attempts to answer why all these people you barely knew/didn’t know/didn’t like/etc. from your earlier years are coming out of the woodwork and sending you Facebook friend requests. This new age of connectedness brings an interesting question to light. “Are some relationships better off forgotten in the sands of time?”

"...as we all know, give a mike to a designer (especially an architect) and you’ll be trapped for hours. The key to Pecha Kucha Night is its patented system for avoiding this fate. Each presenter is allowed 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds each – giving 6 minutes 40 seconds of fame before the next presenter is up. This keeps presentations concise, the interest level up, and gives more people the chance to show."
So really, you might call it PowerPoint performance art or PowerPoint stand-up. That's how I look at it anyway. Not everyone takes that approach. Some people actually use it to show their work.
Not me. It's all about other observations.
@chuckreynolds has had an X's mother friend him and I'm friends with my 2nd grade teacher. *shrug*
