Xacti HD700
[UPDATE]
I am told this footage has been re-compressed by vimeo's servers from the original 9MBps rate, to only 1.6MBps or so, therefore I can hardly call this footage 'RAW' anymore.
Also, it has a JERKY PLAYBACK because it seems Vimeo's HD mode is optimized/set for 24fps videos, and the Xacti HD700 shoots 30fps progressive.
So nevermind that, I assure you the original footage plays smooth.
[/UPDATE]
Footage from a Sanyo Xacti HD700.
These clips have been provided by Caelum (Steve's Digicams forum member), and I just put them together into a longer clip (with no re-compression in the process).
Other than joining all the individual clips, no editing or any enhancement has been applied to the video.
The actual specifications of the RAW video uploaded are below:
H.264 1280x720, 29,971000 fps (playback), 30fps capture in progressive mode (?), 9MBps video rate, AAC audio @ 128kbps Stereo with a sampling rate of 48000Hz, and a length of 3 minutes and 19 seconds. Final file size was about 220MB.
Ok, everyone donate so I can get mine :P

The original MP4 clips play most excellent and smooth using VLC.
Cant wait to test it out myself!!!!!
Now I am happy I did that, because I am very sure that instead, I will be getting the Canon HF100. It appears to be miles ahead from the samples I have seen, and the price has dropped so much, it's a steal.
