Freediving with a polespear offshore of Gisborne, New Zealand. Delicious pink maomao were found past the 20 meter mark, along with many other species including yellowtail kingfish. The challenge of the polespear makes success even sweeter.

    Kolt, Nice editing and really nice diving! Those dives I can tell are not shallow. Tell your cameraman I thought he did a great job as well. My favorite scene is the birds.

    Thanks Ren. It was actually an afterthought to even break out the camera. I wanted to get a couple photos of the pinks, then I figured why not get video of a dive. Kerry did a great job with the camera. And yeah, both dives were 80 footers.
