AW DR is great! I was in La Romana this summer. Hope you had a good time! If it makes you feel any better, my flight from DR to back home was delayed 3 hours to Miami, and then from Miami to Dulles Airport, it was delayed 1 day. Good luck!

We were horribly trapped in the airport when we went to the DR. We were supposed to get in at like 1 pm, we ended up having to fly to Santo domingo and then take a crazy bus 3 hours to Punta Cana, where we were staying. We ended up getting there around 9:30, completing somewhere near 20 hours of transit since waking up and getting in a cab at 4:30am that morning.

i'm interested in what kind of smack you were about to talk about the DR?

haha i was stuck in the chicago airport for about 16 hours. i feel your pain. it would have been quicker just to drive home. but noo... we had to fly

18 hours in o'hare airport once...
