what are your new plans? :)
  • PEIKA 11 months ago
it's funny after working so hard for so many years you seem to forget who you really are? I find having time to breath, time to think on things has led me to the person I once was. As for my plans, well HMMM we shall see.
  • iamloserduh 11 months ago
I think life is a constant battle to find out who you are ( or were ) . But Im glad for you since you have such a positive take on all this. :) Your always so positive.

God forbid that you take a pay cut and not be able to afford to drive your Mercedes, while 20 other people lose their jobs completely! I'm sorry. I swear I'm not an asshole. This just really bothers me.
  • PEIKA 11 months ago
Jesse when you grow up to be big, you will then better understand the fruits of HARD work and the margins of living well. And the worth of your talent, the real world will not hand it to you. Thier is no shame in moving forward the only shame is regreting that you didnt. and judging from the (FUCK SCHOOL) in your profile you might just be looking forward to regret.
  • nicely put, peika. money is not evil. it's the love of money that's evil.
  • pierrelourens 11 months ago
Jesse: who's to care who drives a Mercedes and who earns the most money. If Peika (or anyone for that matter) doesn't earn as much as their talent is worth, then the job isn't worth it. It's really a matter of self-esteem and evaluating how much money one would be happy to make.

Peika, if you think your work is worth more than what they would pay you, (which it is) then all the more power and good luck to you.

I think we both misunderstood each other. Thanks for returning the attack, though. I see us as being in the same position. I dropped out of school because I finally realized that an institution is no place to hone your art. It's something that I have to do on my own. And maybe it is something that I will regret someday but it was killing my soul, so maybe I wouldn't be around to regret it if I had stayed...
  • PEIKA 11 months ago
School can be over rated for the few who arent lemmings, If your art is your lifes passion then go for it.
  • Jesse Spurlin 11 months ago
thank you. Good luck finding your passion. I hope it pays well.

Life is inherently a risk, from the get go. Either you stand up for yourself and take a swing and hit a home run or just cheer from the bleachers.

Glad you left. The place looked like a real soul sucker. Nothing to do now but look forward. I just almost left a nasty rejoinder to the person who criticized you not taking the paycut...but i decided that he's not worth it.

Hang in there brother, I've been though it and you will find you are move valuable than they want you to think you are. The bottom line only has value if it is serving people fairly. If it is only serving the interest of a few individuals, then this would have happend eventually anyway, so be happy it happend while you have your health and your youth.

Yeah, it seems like everything has been said. Including that everything has been said, ha. Best wishes and good luck! I'm not sure I would be able to draw inspiration from a seemingly negative event and channel it into a great video like this, so kudos.
