First demo video of my 'graphic synthesiser', or the G-synth as it's now called.

This is all a culmination of a years self-teaching and exploration of programming using the Processing language.

It's a tool and instrument for myself as a digital artist, which will hopefully keep my work fresh and innovative, and inspire others to teach themselves programming to build their own artistic technology.

this kind of reminds me of andy omeara's gforce visualizer . but your other videos are much more colorfull and well rendered . more depth for sure . I find it amusing, the parralels with the G prefix

    Hey Glenn -

Gorgeous. I actually like this better than your other visualizers. I can't really describe my admiration for this without dipping into mathematical nomenclature cliches like 'pure' and 'elegant'. But to me, to see something so simple as a butterfly suddenly turn into a pulsating fractal was wonderful. I cannot wait to see what comes next!

    Thanks!

Your demo is very beautiful. I really like how much you did with just the disks getting larger and smaller. May I ask a question? Are all of the videos rendered or are some of them recordings of live/interactive creations?
