Spike, a US Coast Guard Tender served the United States Coast Guard from
April 1966 to May 1986. Donated to the Safe Harbors Boys Home of
Jacksonville Florida, Spike has seen it surface based time come to an end.
The Sink the Spike Project serves as a means of getting Spike a new home,
as an artificial reef off the coast of Jacksonville Florida.
