I would have to say in general....it would make a good episode

I love the Twilight Zone so I feel honored that you would compare it at all to still one of the best TV shows ever. I kept thinking if somehow I had accidentally ripped off an episode. I went through my mind of Twilight Zone plots and the closest I got was a more subdued mix of "And When the Sky Was Opened" and "A World of Difference."

Oh yeah, and that's appropiate now since those episodes were both written by Matheson who also wrote "I Am Legend."
