Yeah, I bust my you know what to get a corrected clean upload. Took a long time because, it failed to complete 3 times at the 90+ % mark.

What does hv20 channel addition mean to the video?

Had loaded up a second clip at different setting to figure out what went right. I guess Vimeo can't upload 1920x1080i.

Hey, If there's pent up demand for it I'll post more. I just felt originally that it's not good to put more of same. . . though my step-daughters' crew would like that.

Ya know- these kind of videos/comments make me scared. I wonder when I am ten years older- If I'll be using my HV20 setup to film the unattainable.

Are older women all that bad?

Don't exactly know what you're implying here. But daughter wanted her friends and events filmed.

I wish I could see more moving shots. And have you ever considered of buying a 35mm adapter to have a more film-look? There is a guy here who put that on a merlin too.
  • Head Shot 5 months ago
I have more of similar video clips with the girls other performances, but I didn't wan't to get too boring.

As for the 35 mm, I wouldn't want to do this when I do these close up steadicam movements. Besides, the weight added would further strain my arm. If I have the arm/vest I'd look into it.

Realistically though, I needed the widest depth of field for such shots.

if you look at the specs of the merlin, you are just in that range when yo add a brevis for instance. If you gonna buy a hvx200 then yu would need a vest and arm...but they are made for the merlin...they are no heavy ones found in films.

Sure, the weight will be in , barely, but with light or mike, not so good.

I just don't want to have a heavy load for me. I had to carry these for three plus hours. It got tiring.

On the other hand extra weight made for more steady movements.

With vest and arm, It would be real easy for me to bear it for hours on end. But to go on the streets, "weird stares" would be an understatement. :)
