It looks like his entire job is to wait there till someone comes in and for him to give them a tour. Very good video, very informative. Ill be sure to bring a couple slinkys when I get a job.

why are videos looking so bad lately? so dark and grainy? it used to be so much better...
  • chriskalani 5 months ago
It doesn't have to do with the site...
  • Randy Haddock 5 months ago
what does it have to do with?
  • Rob Mientjes 5 months ago
It has to do with the quality of the uploaded video. Even Vimeo can't make bad footage look like prime HD.
  • Randy Haddock 5 months ago
um ok, I'm not even going to get into that.... retard

This isn't an issue with Vimeo's transcoder. Darkness and graininess is decided by the quality of the camera and the environment it's in.

I did a side by side comparison of the original and the transcoded video and there wasn't any difference in the contrast levels.

The footage is kinda crappy since it was converted from mp4 to wmv. I hate windows movie maker.

Also, this was shot with an older Sanyo Xacti. It doesn't capture indoor lighting supremely well.

"a racist version of middle school" awww... as if middle school wasn't hard enough. we feel for you, Jakob.

thanks for sharing your humble world with us! They mysteries of CV finally unveiled!

    p.s. I hate WMV too.
p.p.s. glad to see that the CV crew is "real" too- always thinking about food and playing with slinkies, just like the us normal people!
