These are all Hi-res Photographs. I just exported them in HD and uploaded them...Vimeo took care of the rest.

How do you manage to keep the same face for ten million photos? Anyhow I liked the part with the trains reflection while your friend makes shapes.

    It's all CGI

I loved the beginning of your shadow. It was kind of eerie and uncharacteristic of New York to not see you surrounded by other shadows.

What kind of burst rate do you have on that camera?
  • Eric Lodwick 2 years ago
The distance between each photograph is different, but on average about 1 picture a second.

Oh, and I want to add this to the Whalehammer channel, but I don't know how to add other people's videos to a channel.

Click "Appearing in" at the top of this page(to the right of the video) and then click add to channel.

I use iMovie for stop motion and final cut for normal vids.

if you have quicktime pro, it's really easy to do them in there as well, with the 'open image sequence' option. then just open an audio track in another quicktime window and paste the image sequence to the song... it will automagically scale the image sequence to the length of the song. voile.

    cool, thanks.

I didn't know about the quicktime thing. I'll try it out.

Thanks! If you use iMovie, don't get frustrated! I always have problems, but troubleshooting with iMovie is what helped me get this effect.

Nice video, it's a great example how a simple video can be transformed, with the right effect and music, into a form of art.

Really nice video and love the music choice (I didn't know that band before and at 0:45 that part of the music wow, really great, skyy, dreamy. Did you had the music in mind before doing it ?
