In 2004, Hurricane Charley came ripping right across where we lived in Orlando. I'm originally from Wisconsin, so we don't get things like giant deathly tornado wind storms that shred our towns apart, so it was an interesting experience.

About a year later I got a call from someone at the Discovery Channel who was making a special about normal folks documenting disasters. They wanted to use my footage. I said they could, but I never heard back from them.
