LOVE this version. What's the music in the background? It sounds like something from David Firth's stuff.

It's "Temple Of Light" from the Fable (videogame) soundtrack, played backwards.

    the new narration is TIGHT.
i have a dumb question - is there such a thing as a dumb question?
also: when the lights come up, is that in real time or is it a dissolve? the handheld camera-float is matching up perfectly. what's your secret, magic mans?
  • Thanks for dropping in, Matt. It's exciting to see that you are still following! As always, your opinion is regarded as God-words.

That's just a good old fashioned cross fade where the lights change. The magic was turning all those lights on while not disturbing anything in frame. BTW, i've got some panels i want you to take a look at. I'll post a video soon of the storyboards for an animation i've been wanting to do.

    God loves you BRD.
as far as turning lights on nonchalantly, it's called "the clapper."

I try to get on vimeo as often as I can but I'm frigging buried in animation right now.
"share" the storyboard clip when its up and i'll see it right away.

G'day Brett. This is a great film -- and I like the voice-over man's delivery and timbre too -- not that I want him to MY "honey" ;-)

    You make us think.

Among all the contacts added since I started Vimeo, your work still shines. It's not just a good shot or a good edit. It's what's written; It's what makes us think. ;)

    Great stuff!

  • don't want to let you down. thanks for the gracious words. it means the world.

BTW....where'd you get that old film camera? Did you use it to film the entire subject?
  • Yup, the entire thing is filmed with the CP16. I got it from my school.
