    Good Lord! That jar of Marmite costs over $6 USD. That would be over 12 pounds!

    There's about 2 US dollars to the pound at the moment, so I make it about 3 pounds. It looks like a 125g jar, which actually costs about 1 pound 20 pence in the UK.

    I meant for us Yanks. A local store has that size jar for a little over $6 USD so, for me, thats like 12 GBP if I am making the correct comparison. I didn't mean actual value in exchange rates. Still, it is stinking expensive for being yeast vomit.

    I see that Marmite has a rather expensive but interesting "special edition" toaster made by Dualit available in the UK. £115 is nuts for a toaster though. Dobbsie's toaster is really nice.
