Chris, nice shots of Amanda on the GGBridge, I liked the colors. Looks like a scene out of a movie..maybe something for you to think about (shooting a movie). What was that airy sounding music in the background?

thank you guys. Ian, it WILL be a scene out of a movie! This is test footage for a movie I'm shooting early next year. The airy music is from the group "Sigur Ros". I wish I could remember what the song is but if you really want to know, I'll find it. Let me know.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments. Yes, the ending really came together nicely. Was finished shooting but then saw the sunset and decided to keep going. Lucky we did.

Well done, just goes to show that shooting during the golden hours makes all the difference in the world. All it needs now is a steadicam for the walking shots!

Indeed. Well shot and more importantly well edited. Good luck with the film.

Thank you everyone who's commented. In the movie, the walking on the bridge will actually have a motivation. This wasn't really meant to be edited together so I understand the complaints that there's no message behind it.

Lovely clip, but I'm curious if you compressed it much even though it says the HD is on? I only ask because it doesn't seem quite as clear as other HD clips I watched on this site.
Really nice video (and great choice of BG music)!
  • chris eads 7 months ago
yes, it's a little soft. although I like the softer look, I think it has something to do with my lack of knowledge on the topic of compression. The raw footage is very sharp. thanks for watching.

well done! good luck with your film. I thought the first 20 seconds would have been a great opening shot to a film, although a steadycam would pro it up in a flash. Absolutely enthralling from :00 to :30 (of course the rest is nice as well, that part just caught my soul for some reason)

Looks like Amanda got cold halfway through the test shoot. The last 2 minutes were quite beautiful.

At first, deinterlace your footage if you can and you will obtain a better quality. What's your camcorder ?
