1. Oxygen
This is Oxygen, produced at the Ringling College of Art + Design as my thesis for the department of Computer Animation.

As a recent graduate, I am hoping this film along with a number of effects I have done for other students will help me get a job doing vfx for film, tv, or games.

Visit my website at particleart.com to see my reel and (not quite so fantastic as this) other work!

You may have teachers world-wide asking for more! It's beautiful, entertaining, and educational. That is a very tough combination. Bravo.

Tom is right on with his comment. I am a teacher and I would love to have more of these short films to show my class for all different elements.

I hope the job search goes well and you can do more work in the education field.

Nice job. I wish we had this video back when I was learning about the periodic table!

My favorite part was when oxygen (slowly) realized his friend Barium was gone. LOL

Congrats on finishing school and good luck out there in the job market.

Excellent animation. Your character's emotions were superb. Spot on!

What program did you use for the animating? Maya? Some of it looks a little 2D also. Did you use the same program and just do everything in house? Or did you do some compositing with an outside program also?

Great work! I think it ranks right up there with School House Rock. Finish the series, cover the entire periodic table.

And make sure to enter this into at least a few film festivals, it'll go over really well.
