This a film I produced at Ringling College of Art + Design in the Computer Animation Department. It is a modern retelling/take of the classic fairy tale Hansel and Gretel.

I hope one day people will say "hey you know that Gianna girl should come work for us and draw cool stuff."

Stunning visuals from the start at the title all the way to the end. The story is a beautiful and complex combination of movement and musical nuances. This is one of my favorite films to come out of the CA department.

This is a fantastically twisted and dark rendition, and its obvious that a lot of work was put into the look and execution of every cut.

My problems are the soundtrack, its a little too blatant and bombastic, and I think I paid more attention to deciphering it and its relation to the visuals than allowing it to compliment the visuals. Also the swirly border elements were somewhat distracting to be carried throughout most of the piece. I would've liked them to fade out after a few seconds.

However, I loved the character design, the gothic, surreal textured backgrounds, and the story as well.

You have a long and talented future ahead of you.
