You should have that for your Christmas dinner. Happy Christmas, ojo.

Thanks Steve, we preferred roasted chicken with lemon garlic skin.

    Happy Christmas to you too.

P.S. Today the beans and the sausages showed their "dark side" very effectful.

There are 2 and a half table spoons of sugar in each tin of beans!

I am deeply ashamed of our cuisine..... UK food has degenerated since MacDonalds arrived. Another key moment was when "Pot Noodles" were considered acceptable. And as for Marmite....... we are obviously in need of re-educating.
  • ojo 7 months ago
What's wrong with noodles tinctured in THC?

    Bill, heads up!
McDonalds wasn't the reason why the UK's cuisine degenerated. That was the food shortage after WW2.
    Look ahead,
I personally try to buy island cheese here in Germany to check out if it could compare with the french. And of course sparkling wine and wine! I'm very curious about "real" food things which are not canned or fried.
    And Marmite...??

And of course regular german food isn't that cuisine, OK we don't fry everything but we also have some strange stuff, foreigners wouldn't know/like/eat.

Marmite is the saviour of British cuisine.

Here are Bill's attempts to improve the standard of British cuisine:

I read that people ate healthier during and after the war DUE to the shortages of so called "luxuries". And I definately think MacDonalds and other plastic fast food joints have dumbed down our tastebuds.

Also I dont think there is any pot in pot noodles. And theres no "happy" in happy meals either.

    @SteveR .. improving British cuisine..
I watched both episodes and I think I'll try this. This could only be an exotic starter for maybe an exotic dish f.e. Chili con carne. I'm happy that I don't have to eat this daily or weekly and that this kind of cooking isn't my favoured.

Bill, sorry no "Like" for "Crisp Cuisine" even if these vids are made with love.

Deep meaningful love. Im hurt you havent "liked" them.

After forcing Marmite on several other people, I am forgetting my own suffering.
  • Bill 7 months ago
That is the first sign of recovery.

Wow, I really love that "Yes" song! I haven't heard that in ages and it really fits with your Marmite experience.

    Thanks!
When I mixed down this vid, I thought it's an absolute must to use an english band. ... Are there others ?? ;-)
