I Miss Filmmaking in Michigan
My last year of college I worked with a small group of artists and we made films together. It was the best group of friends/filmmakers I ever got to work with. It was so much fun and I miss them so very very much. Now we are so far away from each other...California, Michigan, different parts of Canada....etc.
One day we'll be together again.
I miss them.

Their Video Production major started the year I graduated, so I wasn't able to Major in it...but I took all the production classes that I could and even did two independent studies...as an excuse to learn more on my own and get credit for it..... I didn't get into it until my Junior Year of college. Sometimes I feel like it was too little too late. But it's alright. I always look at it this way, make the most of your resources and it's up to you to excel in what you love. The professors are really amazing. The facilities are top notch. But the stuff that comes out of there is pretty meh. Most of my favorite work that I've made were done outside of school with these guys. haha. But calvin is getting better. Actually Filmmaking in general in Grand Rapids has really progressed in the last year...in leaps and bounds. I miss michigan a lot.
btw, I "liked" this about 28 secs in and was enchanted throughout.
it's not even that anymore..its conceptual and what you do with what you have!
nothing should stop you from doing things that make you so happy!

After the endless calamities and inherent brutality of Apocalypse Now, Francis Ford Coppola made his most personal film - it starred Terri Garr and Frederick Forest -- and was called "One From The Heart".
This is your One From The Heart :-)
