Here's my first shot at HD.
It was shot in the same way as my other clips but at a higher resolution.
Here's some How To info in my profile: vimeo.com/danLinfield

Did you use a digital SLR for this?
Powetshot A510. Not bad for a $200 camera.
then i watched in full screen!
gotta try this myself.
I might have to try my powershot out for some time lapse, since now I know it can do such beautiful work.
Later Edit: Sorry, I've read the comments again and found the answer. Nice work. I tried to do that once with a photo camera shooting an icicle every half an hour.
It didn't work because the icicle was handmade by me since the weather didn't gave me any.
vimeo recognizes the video as hd based on the dimensions of the vid(1280 x 720)
i have to applaud you for such a heart warming film.
(I like the music, too!)
It is either.... a tribute to the movie "Pink Floyd the Wall" or an alien chest burster. I am torn between the obscene and the horrific.
I should post my 20 year old VHS camcorder "stop motion"... with out the "stop".... 12 hours of video of a butterfly emerging from a cocoon... no action till the end of the last tape.
p.s. Is this the same Dan Linfield I worked with at RT&E so long ago?
