A quick review of the Cam Caddie camcorder handle / tripod device.
The Cam Caddie costs $49 and is a pretty handy device.
I shot this video with a Canon HV20, captured direct to Sony Vegas 8, and then rendered as Sony AVS.

I've been looking for something like this for weeks
Did you ever see one that looks like a steering wheel on a car? Camera mounts in the center. Much better control. Just get one in a junk jard or make one from plastic tube. It works better then anything else. very steady shots can be done with that setup.
Cam caddie is a bit pricey.
You can snap one together for less than $7 buy going to ACE hardware and you'll find everything there.
Just use your imagination.
