Based on a dream, containing five words of dialogue, día is a poetic vignette of a day, or perhaps the life, of one man. Visually minimalist and photographic, a stark and sublime moment is captured.

The script was written in Barcelona in 2001/2002, then shot and produced in (and around) Chicago in 2004.

día premiered at Transmediale in Berlin in 2005 and has since been shown at Off-Loop Video Art Festival in Barcelona and Tour(mix) in Mallorca.

P.S. This was my debut film.
