My first vimeo upload! I strap a camera to my handlebars and take you with me on my bike ride into work.

It's got a bit of a jostley Blair Witch Project thing going on, so don't watch it if that kinda thing makes you sick.

If you look carefully, you might even be able to see the US Capitol Building, which is dead ahead toward the end of the clip.

...although, it was *on* the mall (the national mall...where they keep the monuments and museums...for anyone paying attention).

"in the mall" makes it sound like I ran to j crew and the gap during lunch (not that there's anything wrong with that sort of thing). :)

That's a cool trip. I think more folks should make these roundabout, backroady, neighborhood clips.

i love to go out on long rides. i useed to have these little speakers that i attached to my bike so i could listen to music on the rides. i wish i would have thought of attaching a camera and making a video.

it's not too late...you still can! I actually have a small (maybe 4") tripod from REI which also has a velcro strap. perhaps not the most secure fastening ever, but it got the job done!

i could try, but all i have is good ol trusty electrical and duct tape. but hey, it worked for my mp3 player and speakers, so why not a camera?
