Wake Up.
One picture every morning, as soon as I wake up.
from october 9th 2005 to march 3rd 2006.
151 mornings packed into 13 seconds.

> update #1
After posting this video I found
Noa K.'s vimeo.com/clip:99392
and
c71123's vimeo.com/clip:106228
works. Great videos.
When I started taking a self portrait every morning I decided to stop after 1 year. And so I will probably do.

> update #2
october 9th 2006
one year is passed,
the project is over and I'm happy because I could not stand anymore taking a self portrait every morning soon after waking up.
Once I'll edit the final video I'll replace this one.
--------------------------------------
ps
writing about complex stuff in english for me it's quite complicated, I hope I did not make too many errors.
ciao

you're right
Usually I don't like much to wake up,
I smile in only one frame... not much, only one smile in 151 mornings
try it, it's fun :)
I didn't know about jeff harris, I love his photos, and his project too, right after the alarm clock wakes me up
I probably look forlorn (that's a new word for me, never heard it before, I hope I caught the correct meaning) because most of the photos are taken when I'm half asleep, after the alarm clock wakes me up
it would mean about 18250 more photos,
I don't think I can do it :)
I would also need to buy a new camera
cheers
(sorry for answering after 4 months...)
:)
Making this video helped me to understand that I dont' like much to wake up,
but I promise, I'll try to smile more often :)
yeah, some mornings are definitely better,
but only a few of them :)
that's still the first version of the video...
I should upload the full version
the cool thing about the eyes is that it's possible to see reflections of what's outside the windows of the rooms where I took the photos. But that's only possible with an hi-res versione of the video.
When I look at the photos or the video still frames, I try to remember some details that happened to me in those days :)
