When it comes to deserts, its often too windy to fly, and I spend a lot of time digging my bike out of sand traps,...but not the Paracan reserve of Peru. Hard packed coastal sand and clay offered unlimited off road access to the entire region by motorcycle. And the winds died down during the night allowing a couple of glassy smooth sleddies off the nearby hills in the morning.
