It looks like "jelly effect" not rolling shutter.
Is it in the original too?
I have seen such strange jelly after stabilizing clips with PC/software

Hey thanks! that's the exact test I was looking for. It looks like the rolling shutter is a bit better compared to the hv20. I'm in the same boat with you in that I'm waiting for the scarlet, but I think we will be waiting a very long time. Thanks again. I think i will try to pick up a gh1 in the meantime.

ack. welp, looks like it's gotta be pretty stable from the get-go. that's just way too much 'nasty' to use as a plate. great test. thanks for posting.

what the foundry is working on uses pixelflow tech which is the same groundwork for retiming software. it creats nasty artifacts and can only be used on very simple shots where nothing is moving too much. i'd be very very suprised if it is a useable solution.

There is no visible rolling shutter in these panning speeds, trust me, this "jello" effect is due to bad configuration of 2d3.
GH1 has rolling shutter effect, but you'd have to go more quickly.

It looks the same with standard image stabilisation ;)
