I use a combination of gear, software, and vinyl. so mainly>> live, reason, logic, mpc2000xl, moog voyager, fender rhodes, roland space echo, xstation.... and now the monome128 and mlr. i love to sample vinyl, but imo, its not adequate to just take a sample and add drums... the art comes in sample matching and combining bits and pieces of music from different eras to create a new sound and feel. also.. i'm a big fan of the free plug-ins at smartelectronix.com

-I couldn't agree with you anymore...that's how I would basically describe my style and feel for music production. I'm also really digging your scratching on the album..if in fact that is you scratching I presume?
