This is my first project in HD.

An emotion in which one experiences feelings ranging from contentment and satisfaction to bliss and intense joy.
Inner energy lines, energy channels of a soul or deepest dimension of the human. A state of everlasting peace...

awesome! nicely done. was this done in adobe premiere? liked the clouds timelapse with the lamp post. what did you use for titles?
  • Tiago Pierotti 2 years ago
Thanks mark, it´s always good to have your comment :)
It was done in premiere pro and the titles were "rage italic" awesome titles!
the clouds timelapse had some color correction, and vimeo encodes files at 24p or 30p , I’m in Pal zone ( 25p ) so that´s why if you play it on vimeo you will have some stop frames in the timelapse... it´s not fluid... but if you download the file it´s fluid and smooth :)

Magnífico. Very Creative! Don't you love your camera?

    Many beautiful scenes.

On the black backgrounds with the candle ... was that natural or enhanced backgrounds?
  • Tiago Pierotti 2 years ago
    Thanks Jose!
I'm really enjoying my camera...HD is perfect and HG10 definitely makes it even better for fast transferring and editing!

The black background with the candles was natural, just adjusted the camera setting for low light shooting (photo button trick, shutter priority mode and lock exposure at 1.8) and them play with manual focus.

Tiago - "The Light" is magnificient. The matching of music with film (HD) was really well done. And the subject matter with the type was done tastefully. Just one of the best done shorts on here. Each scene was shot with much planning from what it looked like. Again you have a bright future. It's all about the light..

    Relly Appreciate it :)
each shot was pretty hard to get and planed as well but came out great...

Thanks for enlightening with your comment :)

Very well shoot and edited Tiago! Out of curiosity how hard was it to shoot the swing scene? It looked very crisp and fluid to my eye. Great work!
  • Andrew Gentle 2 years ago
Yeah, I'd love to see a picture of the rig you used for that swing scene
  • Tiago Pierotti 2 years ago
    Thanks Michael and Andrew,
    Sorry... don´t have the picture.
That scene was done with a really heavy box (with the camera inside) so it doesn´t capture the small movements and make it fluid... once you have a nice constant speed it came out very steady.

    Cheers

I'm curious how you were able to get Rodrigo Santoro for the swing shot.
  • Tiago Pierotti 2 years ago
    Hi Ben,
This was done for a local movie, and i was part of the crew that shot this scenes. Some shots were not released on the movie and only the crew has those shots. This was quick mixture of showing small images that can translate the feelings that this video talks about.
Thanks for your comment and expected to clarify that...
  • Ben Millett 2 years ago
That's really cool. It's not often that one can include actors like him in your own non-commercial work. Those shots work well in this video.

It's rare that a short will capture the imagination on this sort of subject without coming across as a bit pretentious. You my friend, have pulled it off beautifully!
