I did a "try-out" at my local five star boxing club in London when I was a kid. I was in the ring for five seconds and my nose bled for about a week!

Geeeze I was never one for boxing much, although we were neighbors of the great Floyd Patterson (he invited us to shoot hoops in his driveway court one time we were kids and star struck; "Holy mackerel we're playin' ball with Floyd Patterson!" we were 6 or 7 he was such a kind man,,, well as long as you weren't boxing him. former heavyweight champion of the world.
