This freebie vignette was recorded on the morning of December 20th, when Dee Hopkins was sealed to Ryan Hudson in the D.C. Temple in Northern Maryland.

The first seven and a half minutes were edited and presented at the Winchester Bridal Expo on January 6th. The other 4 minutes are brand new, and just for you guys. ;) I hope you guys like the video.

Music: "Hand Me Down" by Matchbox 20 (+Karaoke version), "Bubbly" by Colbie Collet & "Row" by Jon Brion (from the Eternal Sunshine soundtrack). Other music tracks and samples are licensed.

Very impressive. At 4:05 what kind of transition was that? I liked that. Are you using a glidecam for some of these shots? Very smooth work

Thanks! The scanning-light transition (at 4:05 and elsewhere) is created using Volumetrix, a pack of two commercial plug-ins for Noise Industries' FX Factory Pro. These effects render in Final Cut, but are prone to GLITCHES! (you have to be aware of which other filters you're combining them with)

Also, because I converted my footage to Apple's ProRes on ingest (which is 10-bit) I needed to really crank the brightness values in the plug-in. The defaults were set for 8-bit rendering, which created a faint blue mist instead of bright blue highlights.

Oh, and no steadicam here - just the certain knowledge I had no second camera for cutaways (which always helps me focus harder.) I also had a monopod and tripod, with an assistant to help me cart it all around.
